Title Guide and Timeline

Directed by Namkoong Sun, Love Untangled is set in a Korean high school in 1998. Shin Eun-soo plays nineteen-year-old Park Se-ri, who treats straightening her curls as a necessary step before an important declaration, while Gong Myoung plays Seoul transfer student Han Yun-seok, drawn into the plan that Se-ri organizes with her friends. Through hair, self-image, and the person Se-ri initially believes she wants, the film examines how a teenager separates outside expectations from her own changing choices.

Netflix’s official material confirms an August 29, 2025 release and lists a cast that includes Gong Myoung, Shin Eun-soo, Cha Woo-min, Youn Sang-hyun, and Kang Mi-na. It also highlights cassette tapes, 35mm cameras, and camcorders, showing that the late-1990s setting helps shape the friendships rather than serving only as decoration. Scenemark currently holds one late-film time reference, so the page labels its coverage as selective; this guide supplies period, character, production, and cast context without presenting one record as a complete timeline.

The published Love Untangled index contains 1 timestamp annotations with about 1 minute of marked material. The average annotation spans 9 seconds; 1 short reference under 20 seconds.

How This Page Is Maintained

Scenemark Editorial Desk maintains the annotations separately from third-party catalog metadata. A published entry must have contextual notes, a synopsis, multiple independent reference links, and a recorded content-check date.

  • Timestamp scope: each timecode belongs to the named film or episode, not to the whole series runtime.
  • Metadata scope: external references support title, year, cast, and genre checks; they are not presented as the source of Scenemark annotations.
  • Record check: 2026-06-15. Corrections are logged through the contact channel.
